I’m basically just a person who loves to capture memories. And every time I pick up my camera to capture something, I find myself in awe. Not at all in awe of my own ability, but in awe of the beautiful world God created. In awe of the innocence of each tiny newborn, and the uniqueness of each child and of each family. And I’m thankful that He has given me the opportunity to capture that beauty, if only for a second, in a photograph. And I’d love to have the chance to share that with you.

It’s been a while since I have gotten to photograph a newborn girl, so I was delighted to spend some time with sweet baby C and her big sister. I’ve been photographing this family since big sister was a newborn, so it has been a pleasure to see their family grow!

And finally a shot of the 2 of them together. Which was a *little* harder than it looks. 
But totally worth the effort.

This little guy was nine days old on the day of our shoot, and I am not sure if I saw his eyes the whole time I was there. He slept so soundly and did so great the whole time. When I asked if I could take him outside and started getting him settled in the backyard, his dad told me that they had a little creek behind their house and asked if I would be interested in seeing it. Um, Yes. Check out the gorgeous light (and baby of course)……

And finally, here is one of baby J’s cute little cousin who was visiting for the day. His little smile stole my heart.

Aww, is this little guy cute or what? The light in their home was TO DIE FOR, so it helped make for some great shots. Oh, and having a gorgeous family sure doesn’t hurt either. Mom had ordered these adorable hats on etsy, so I was delighted to have something new when I got there!

I’ve had so many cute newborns lately, that I decided to make this blog all about them this week. So be prepared for new baby cuteness….
All of this cuteness is likely to give one baby fever, but thankfully no baby fever for me, because my sister is pregnant!! I am planning to get a huge dose of sweet newborn baby in just a few weeks when my new niece arrives.
As if these next few cuties weren’t enough….
First up… sweet baby h. He was awesome for me. Probably because we spent most of the time outside. It was a little warm (translation SUPER HOT), but the little man was cozy and didn’t mind us stripping him down at all. Which made for some pretty cute photos…..
He didn’t sleep the whole time. Look how cute he is wide awake after we brought him inside. So sweet!
