About Kelly Stocksen Photography :

I’m basically just a person who loves to capture memories. And every time I pick up my camera to capture something, I find myself in awe. Not at all in awe of my own ability, but in awe of the beautiful world God created. In awe of the innocence of each tiny newborn, and the uniqueness of each child and of each family. And I’m thankful that He has given me the opportunity to capture that beauty, if only for a second, in a photograph. And I’d love to have the chance to share that with you.

Um, this session was super fast, but super fun. How could it not be fun with sisters that look like this? Talk about making my job easy…..

some that I love

Well from this post it should be a little obvious that I am behind on editing personal photos. Especially since these were taken at the first of the summer. LOL.  But I love these, so even though I am sharing late, I still wanted to share.

My husband’s family farms wheat, and I have been dying to get a cute shot in the field of all three of my kids. But it just never seems to work. Mostly because there is work to do on the farm when the wheat is brown. You know, like harvest it. Soooo, my plans to get photos in the fields never quite pans out. But this year, courtesy of a thunderstorm, I finally got my wish. And got a picture I love of the three of mine together as well as a photo of all the grandkids for grandma. Double bonus!

rain or shine

This is the third year in a row that I have had the opportunity to photograph this sweet trio of sisters. And each year we’ve always run into some sort of challenge. So when it was drizzling the day of their session last week, I just chalked it up to par for the course. But despite the rain, this year we didn’t have a challenge at all. We had so much fun. And finished our session in 20 minutes. Love these shots! They look like crewcuts models……

Yesterday, we welcomed my sweet new niece, Hadley Grace, into the world. She’s beautiful. Just like her mommy.

God is so good.
