Friday, September 25th, 2009Well from this post it should be a little obvious that I am behind on editing personal photos. Especially since these were taken at the first of the summer. LOL. But I love these, so even though I am sharing late, I still wanted to share.
My husband’s family farms wheat, and I have been dying to get a cute shot in the field of all three of my kids. But it just never seems to work. Mostly because there is work to do on the farm when the wheat is brown. You know, like harvest it. Soooo, my plans to get photos in the fields never quite pans out. But this year, courtesy of a thunderstorm, I finally got my wish. And got a picture I love of the three of mine together as well as a photo of all the grandkids for grandma. Double bonus!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009This is the third year in a row that I have had the opportunity to photograph this sweet trio of sisters. And each year we’ve always run into some sort of challenge. So when it was drizzling the day of their session last week, I just chalked it up to par for the course. But despite the rain, this year we didn’t have a challenge at all. We had so much fun. And finished our session in 20 minutes. Love these shots! They look like crewcuts models……
