I’d love to write about each of these families (they were all so wonderful), but I know if I sit down to make a separate post for each one, it will never happen. But I do want to share a few from Fall sessions, before it’s Spring time again. So here we go, just a few families at a time……
Well, here we are at snow day #8. And that’s just days away from school. I’m refraining from counting the weekend, although at this point it is all just running together. Every day we wake up, I convince myself it is Saturday, because we have no schedule, no routine. Just feels like a never ending weekend. And honestly, it feels pretty good. I learned how to use a crock pot (not rocket science I know, but a cook I am not), put together puzzles, made crafts, watched too many movies, introduced the kids to my favorite movie (The Parent Trap, the original Hayley Mills version, not the Lohan version), and played referee when cabin fever has started to set in. Unfortunately as the days go on, I’m starting to play ref a bit more and the kids are losing excitement over crafts. And I think they are getting a bit desperate on movie selections, cause they agreed to watch The Parent Trap 2 today. Which has actually been more entertaining for me than them, I’m sure. Because even though I am totally embarrassed to admit it, I used to love that movie too. The only thing I haven’t done….. um, work. It is almost impossible to get anything done while they are here. Does anyone else feel the same way? So as much as I would have liked to use this time for a bit of catch up, it just hasn’t happened.
I am, however, going to try to schedule a few posts to catch up from Fall sessions. I was blessed to photograph so many amazing families and I can’t wait to share them with you.
So here goes Round 1 of many……
Because of the weather, we are changing the Matilda Jane party to an online one. So sorry about that, because I was really looking forward to it! If you would still like to place an order, you can just make a wish list on the Matilda Jane website and email it to me by 4 pm today. I will email you back after I get your order just to confirm, so if you don’t hear from me please let me know!
And because no post is complete without a picture (or two)…. here are a few from my friend Melissa’s recent session, since we were going to have the party at her house. (And since she is probably more than ready to see them)
Well, it’s no secret after the last post that I love Matilda Jane. If you love it or think you might love it too, I’d like to invite you to a trunk show at my friend Melissa’s house this Sunday, February 6th. Our trunk keeper will bring samples of the most adorable line of spring clothes EVER. It’s called House of Clouds and, oh my word, it is cute! If you are local and dying to get out of Snowmageddon 2011, I would love it if you could come!! If you aren’t local, but would still like to order anything, just send me an email by Sunday and I can help you out! (firstname.lastname@example.org)
You can check out the adorable spring catalog here. (And see a couple pics of Chloe inside!)
Here are the details.

And while I wish these pictures featured Spring, at least they don’t feature 5 feet of snow. Right?
Ugh, sisterly cuteness is almost too much for me. Love them so much!!
