And now, well, I’d say she’s grown a bit. Loved every minute of this shoot this weekend. We were stuck inside the whole time while it was super freezing and snowing outside, but 6 month olds are THE BEST (especially sweet little girls with 3 super cute outfits) so we didn’t miss the outdoors at all.

And of course, I couldn’t leave big sis out. I’ve had the privilege of photographing her since she was a newborn, so it has been awesome to see her grow up. I love my job!

After a relaxing vacation in Missouri with some friends, it’s back to the grind today. I am going to do my best to get caught up on voice mail and email (if you are waiting to hear from me, I promise I am working on it). I’m also going to try to iron out my Fall calendar this week. I am so excited to FINALLY announce the details of my 2008 Holiday Mini Sessions. Last year, mini sessions were one of most popular offerings and I am excited to offer them again this year. Mini sessions are a great way to get a feel of what my regular sessions are like or just to get a few images in between your regular sessions.  They are primarily designed for clients interested in images for their Christmas cards. And they are especially great for the husband who would rather not sit through a 2 hour shoot.

I’ve also been working hard this week to finalize the designs for my 2008 Christmas cards and I am finally finished! There is a link at the top of the blog with all of the new designs! Hopefully these will get you excited about mini sessions too!

Here’s what this year’s mini sessions will include:

• A 30 minute session
• An online gallery of 10 images
• A cd containing all 10 images (printable up to 8 x 10) - this is a first for me!
• 10 - 5 x7 prints (one of each pose in either color or black and white)
• 30% off enlargements (excluding storyboards and other speciality items)
• 50- 5×7 flat Christmas Cards (you may substitue 25 folded cards or 50 4×6 prints of the same pose)

• $100 Session Fee (due at time of booking to reserve your spot)
• $295 (plus tax) Due at Session

Other Details and the Fine Print:

• Mini Sessions are limited to immediate families only.
• All card orders (or print orders for Christmas) must be finalized by November 20th
• Additional cards are available. More details about cards here.
• The sessions will be held outdoors. If bad weather threatens the day, session times may be rescheduled.
• Sessions are first come, first served.

Ok, first I wanted to give a quick scheduling update for this Fall. Sounds crazy to be thinking about fall already, but I have decided to do things a bit differently this year and wanted to give you a heads up.   ALL shoots scheduled this fall (with the exception of newborns), will be mini-sessions that will include your digital files (a first for me!) and some Christmas cards! I am so excited about this and can’t wait to share the details. Keep watching here, and I will have more information soon (probably the middle of August) as well as a list of available time slots.  The mini sessions will be in Sept, Oct, and possibly early November. I won’t be scheduling sessions in December (with the exception of maybe one or 2 newborns), so if you are hoping for Christmas cards, make sure and watch for the mini-session information.

As far as the rest of the summer goes, I am completely booked for July and August with the exception of the newborns I am waiting on (and a few of you that have already contacted me and we are still working out the details, so don’t panic if that’s you).  So if you are hoping to get a session before the end of the year, please make sure and watch for the Fall session times!
