Six months ago, sweet baby C looked like this…..

And now, well, I’d say she’s grown a bit. :) Loved every minute of this shoot this weekend. We were stuck inside the whole time while it was super freezing and snowing outside, but 6 month olds are THE BEST (especially sweet little girls with 3 super cute outfits) so we didn’t miss the outdoors at all.

And of course, I couldn’t leave big sis out. I’ve had the privilege of photographing her since she was a newborn, so it has been awesome to see her grow up. I love my job!

Thought I’d spend a few posts catching up on some family sessions from this Fall. LOVED this sweet family. I met them last Fall for a session, but this year I got to meet their beautiful new addition. And really as soon as I saw this fabulous pram, I was even more in love….. :)

Today was picture day at her preschool. And apparently she cried and cried because she didn’t want to have her picture made. So she didn’t. Literally refused to even sit there. They even sent a note home saying they would refund my money.

Had they not said anything, I never would have known she was upset, because when she got home she hopped out of the car and begged me to take her picture.

Last week after we visited the pumpkin patch, she came home and drew a happy face, a sad face, and a scary face all around her pumpkin. And then she named each face, with names she obviously thought of herself: Alysia, Crouton, and Ganana.

At the time, I wondered why she spent so much time on all the faces (and also was slightly amused by her choice of names).

Now I think she was just looking for someone to identify with. And she really should have named all of them Kate.

Well from this post it should be a little obvious that I am behind on editing personal photos. Especially since these were taken at the first of the summer. LOL.  But I love these, so even though I am sharing late, I still wanted to share.

My husband’s family farms wheat, and I have been dying to get a cute shot in the field of all three of my kids. But it just never seems to work. Mostly because there is work to do on the farm when the wheat is brown. You know, like harvest it. Soooo, my plans to get photos in the fields never quite pans out. But this year, courtesy of a thunderstorm, I finally got my wish. And got a picture I love of the three of mine together as well as a photo of all the grandkids for grandma. Double bonus!

A few weeks ago, my mom, my sister, my kids and I headed to Branson for a couple of days to meet my aunt, cousins, and their kids for a mini vacation. They all came in from Louisiana and since we live so far apart and don’t get to see each other very often, I was glad to have the opportunity to take some photos of their kids. And what a treat it was! They are gorgeous and big enough to follow directions. Double bonus!

Here are all the cousins together….

And I love this next little series of just the girls….

And finally, a brother and sister shot for their mom…..

And since it never seems like I post pictures of my own kids, here are few I took in the hotel room while we were on this trip. We were killing time waiting for the pool to open…..and swimming, of course, was their favorite part of the vacation despite all the other fun things we did!
